Ben Lewis joins ProQuest

ANN ARBOR, MI – June 24, 2014 – ProQuest has named Ben Lewis as its new Senior Vice-President, Strategy and Business Development. In this role, Mr. Lewis leads ProQuest's global strategy function and assists on both internal and external business development activities. He reports to CEO Kurt Sanford.

"Ben's 17 years of experience in senior strategy and development roles make him the ideal fit for this key role at ProQuest," said Mr. Sanford. "I'm excited about the contributions he'll make at the company and for our customers."

Mr. Lewis joins ProQuest from Moody's where he was Vice President and Head of Strategy, responsible for developing corporate strategy across a portfolio of global information assets. Prior to Moody's, Mr. Lewis served in several roles at Thomson Reuters, including Vice President of Strategy and leader of a strategic sales group. While at Thomson Reuters he organized numerous growth projects in the scientific, healthcare, legal and financial services markets. Prior to that, Mr. Lewis was a strategy consultant at Accenture and founding member of the company's data management practice focused on capital markets clients and information providers. During his professional career, Mr. Lewis has worked with clients and businesses around the world, including Brazil, U.K., Germany, India, China, France, Czech Republic and Japan.

Mr. Lewis holds a BS in Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Cornell University's S.C. Johnson Graduate School of Management. He is based in ProQuest's New York City office.
