Lucidea, a new company formed last year through the amalgamation of SydneyPLUS, Inmagic, and Cuadra Associates, has appointed Sal Provenza as its new Chief Marketing Officer. Provenza comes to Lucidea from EOS International, where he served as VP of Global Sales and Marketing. He came to EOS International initially in 2003 as Director of Sales and Marketing for Americas and Asia Pacific Regions. Provenza exits EOS International shortly after its acquisition by SirsiDynix. Lucidea, EOS International, and Soutron Global currently are the main competitors for providing technology products to corporate, law, and other types of special libraries.
