Atlanta, GA, August 27, 2013 – EnvisionWare, a leading provider of self-service and library-efficiency solutions, announced today that BiblioTech, a new digital library in Bexar County, Texas, has selected EnvisionWare for self-service.
BiblioTech, located on San Antonio's south side, has garnered national attention as the country's first all-digital public library. The library is scheduled to open next month and will offer residents access to desktop, laptop and tablet computers, as well as e-readers.
BiblioTech is installing the EnvisionWare Suite, which includes PC Reservation and LPT:One for computer and print management. The library will also offer and manage self-service payment through EnvisionWare's eCommerce services and Authentication and Accounting Module (AAM).
In addition, BiblioTech has purchased EnvisionWare's Library Document Station, the first self-service, do-it-all document solution designed specifically for libraries. The Library Document Station will provide printing, scanning, copying and faxing services for patrons and staff.
