CI College of Technology selects VitalSource Bookshelf platform for move to e-textbooks

Nashville, TN – Vital Source Technologies, Inc., an Ingram Content Group company, today announced that TCI - College of Technology (TCI), one of the largest, two-year private colleges in the New York metropolitan area, has selected its VitalSource Bookshelf platform for its move to an all-digital content curriculum.

The Vital Source Bookshelf platform will be integrated with TCI College's learning management system Blackboard Learn. Through the VitalSource Bookshelf platform, TCI students and faculty will have the flexibility to access e-textbooks through Blackboard Learn, and content can be used online and offline on a variety of operating systems and devices.

Using the VitalSource platform, TCI students will have the ability to make notes, highlights, and annotations in their e-textbooks, all of which automatically sync across devices. Students can also share and subscribe to notes and highlights from their peers.
