Catalyst is proud to announce the release of the NIWA Koha catalogue:

NIWA, the NZ National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research, and Catalyst, have been working together over the past 4 months to migrate the NIWA library data from SirsiDynix Symphony, and to implement and configure the open source library management system Koha to NIWA's requirements.
NIWA science and library staff are finding the new web-based system easy to use and the staff have embraced their new system.
NIWA's library manager Charlotte Clements says, "The feedback from science staff has been very positive. The web-based, interactive interface allows users to search across a number of print and online collections, and share resources using social media."
"NIWA are already collaborating with other libraries on developments into Koha, so we are thrilled to have gained another client who understands the benefits of Open Source software, and are receiving those benefits from day one", said Don Christie, Director of Catalyst IT.
