POMONA, CA - June 24, 2011 - Auto-Graphics, Inc., a technology innovator providing library automation solutions for 40 years, today announced that iLib2Go, its free iPhone Application will be available after July 1, 2011 through the Apple App Store. All current AGent VERSO customers will be able to offer this service to their patrons at no additional charge. The simple, user-friendly app enables patrons and staff to securely search their library's holdings, place reserves, renew items and more - anyplace and anytime through their iPhone.
iLib2Go locates available libraries using a mapping function and allows patrons to view their account and search library resources to find, renew and place reserves on items within the catalog. Patrons can also use the iLib2Go interface to suggest items for their library to purchase, providing the library with direct feedback about what types of items patrons are looking for. In addition, Auto-Graphics will be providing AGent VERSO libraries with an online marketing kit to help libraries better communicate the availability of iLib2Go to patrons.
"iLib2Go is the first of our efforts to offer mobile technology to better serve patrons that use smartphones. With this app patrons will have the ultimate in convenience right at their fingertips," commented Albert Flores, vice president of sales and marketing for Auto-Graphics. "We are thrilled to be able to offer this at no additional charge to our AGent VERSO customers as part of our ongoing effort to improve our ILS product with the latest technology."
