June 16, 2011 -- Emeryville, CA. Dalarna University (Sweden) has selected the Millennium ILS and the integrated Electronic Resource Management product. For users "on the go," the University has selected AirPAC for Smartphones, which will be offered with a Swedish interface. The University is migrating from a SirsiDynix Horizon system.
Dalarna University is a large institution that serves 18,000 students across two campuses. "With Millennium, we will have a modern public catalog and better statistical functionality," says Systems Librarian Petra Gustafsson. "We are looking forward to having integrated Electronic Resource Management in the system so that we will have better control of our electronic resources."
The University's library joins other Innovative libraries in Sweden such as Karlstad University, Malmo City Library, and Malmo University.
