May 20, 2011 -- Emeryville, CA—Innovative announced today that libraries at three arts and cultural institutions have recently selected Millennium as their integrated library solution. Two of the three institutions will share systems with host libraries that already have Millennium systems in place. Those two institutions are Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Arkansas (in partnership with University of Arkansas), which is automating for the first time; and Museu d'Art Contemporani de Barcelona in Spain (in partnership with Consorci de Biblioteques Universitaries de Catalunya), migrating from a VTLS Classic system by VTLS. In addition, the German Historical Institute in Washington, DC will implement a standalone Millennium system, migrating from a DB/TextWorks system by Inmagic.
These libraries are the newest members of a growing group of cultural and arts institutions that have selected Innovative products, including Art Institute of Chicago in Illinois, St. Louis Art Museum in Missouri, Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, and Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers in Paris.
