August 17, 2010 -- Emeryville, CA. The Company today announced the promotion of Mary Chevreau to Vice President, North American Sales effective August 9th. In her new role, her responsibilities will expand from her previous position responsible for North American customer sales to all sales operations in North America. In this capacity, Chevreau will report directly to Neil Block who was recently promoted to President of Innovative Interfaces.
Chevreau has been a key liaison between customers and the company in North America for over a decade and has lead her team in ways to support libraries aiming to meet the challenges they face. Chevreau introduced new products to the Innovative customer base that have enabled libraries to extend their Millennium ILS capabilities into fresh territory including discovery, patron self-service, and digital library tools. "This is a significant promotion for Mary and for Innovative," says Block, "Mary has continually demonstrated her ability to lead a sales organization. In her new role, it is my hope that she will now be able to apply her experience to maximize our sales presence and effectiveness across the entire North American market."
The promotion of Chevreau is another step in the progression of experienced managers at Innovative Interfaces. Chevreau holds degrees in Library Science and Music Performance from The University of Western Ontario. Most recently, Chevreau held the position of Vice President, North American Customer Sales.
