Beaches Chapel School Implements Amlib Version 4.2

Press Release: infoXpert [June 1, 2004]

In the early 70's Beaches Chapel Church was a small congregation meeting in a little chapel in the town of Neptune Beach, Florida. Today, they are a flourishing organization that includes an active church, a school that serves students from K5 through 8th grade and a library that serves everyone involved in the organization.

Thanks to a very dedicate group of parents, the Beaches Chapel library project was not only planned, but the dream was realized this past year. These parents came together to provide the ideas and resources not only get the building itself into shape for a modern library, they also played a key role in seeing that a library management system was implemented to complete the library. They chose Amlib Library Management System as their solution.

Ashley Greene, the librarian, will tell you that she is very happy about the installation of Amlib. She is now in her second year with the library and no longer has to worry about keeping a paper trail for her circulation. She shared that she is very excited to see all of the functionality they needed to grow as a library. "Circulation is great and there is such a variety in reports," Ashley commented.

Ashley continues to learn about the system to make better use of her time serving the students and other patrons. She has an assigned customer support representative from Infovision that works with her one-on-one to solve issues and learn new features of the system. As Beaches Chapel library grows with its organization, Infovision will be there to provide the support and resources it needs to accomplish their its of the future.
