Nicole has had extensive experience in the Koha community and will continue her essential role as document manager for Koha, as well as conduct training, speaking engagements, and other educational roles for ByWater. In addition to receiving a Masters Degree in Library and Information Science, Nicole is well known outside of the Koha community as a speaker, teacher and writer, and has been recognized as one of Library Journalís Movers & Shakers for 2007.
Nicole stated about her new position; "I have always had a passion for teaching librarians and for open source software. This role with ByWater lets me combine my passions on a day to day basis. I am excited that I will get to not only continue to work with the Koha community, but be introduced to the Evergreen community as well, all the while teaching librarians about the benefits of open source software."
