Infor announced today that the Biblioteca Nacional Aruba (BNA) in Oranjestad, Aruba, has selected V-smart, Infor's web-based integrated library system. BNA, Aruba's national library, serves over 100,000 residents, including ten schools, through its main location in Oranjestad, a branch library in San Nicolas and two mobile libraries.
"BNA selected V-smart in an open tender through our Dutch office," says Ann Melaerts, managing director Infor Library and Information Solutions. "Besides V-smart, BNA also chose our statistical analysis portal, V-insight, to provide the Library's staff with key performance indicators about trends and usage of the Library's collections. With V-smart and V-insight, the Library enjoys a next-generation suite of applications to further improve the delivery of information resources and services to the island's diverse population."

The Biblioteca Nacional Aruba offers information, education, culture and recreation for the residents of Aruba.
