Debra Denault Promoted to Senior Vice-President Operations at LibLime

Press Release: LibLime [September 23, 2008]

ATHENS, OH--September 23, 2008--LibLime, the leader in open-source solutions for libraries, announced today that Debra Denault has been promoted to Senior Vice-President Operations.

Debra Denault has over eighteen years experience in the library automation industry. Prior to working at LibLime, Debra held the title of Associate Director of Development with VTLS Inc, where she also worked as the Product Manager for the VIRTUA Integrated Library System. She has also held senior positions with Ex Libris USA and Dynix Canada. Debra has a Master of Library and Information Science degree from the University of Western Ontario (London, Canada).

"Debra will be overseeing LibLime's growing implementation and support departments," says Joshua Ferraro, CEO at LibLime. " LibLime's operations have benefited tremendously from Debra's expertise, dedication and hard work over the past year. We're thrilled to have her joining the management team in her new role."

Debra adds: "I am really excited to be taking on these new responsibilities. As a service-oriented company it is critical that we provide top notch implementation and customer support for our customers and this will be my continued goal and focus in overseeing these two departments."

About LibLime's Software Development Practices

LibLime operates on an open-source business model where the development process is steered by a community, rather than a vendor. LibLime customers take full advantage of this model by sponsoring enhancements that are then shared with the whole community. The result is very rapid development cycles, customer-driven features and a high overall Return on Investment.

Software that LibLime creates using this model is widely available at no cost, which leads to the misconception that the company "sells free software". LibLime sells services (e.g., hosting, installation, data migration, development, training and maintenance) that help facilitate the open-source process for libraries.
