PROVO, Utah, July 16, 2008 – SirsiDynix, the global leader in strategic technology solutions for libraries, announced today the appointment of Stephen C. Erickson as chief financial officer (CFO), replacing Doug Maughan, who is leaving the company. Erickson will be responsible for all corporate finance and administration functions, including accounting, finance, legal and human resources. Erickson assumes his new position effective today and will maintain his office at the SirsiDynix facility in Provo, Utah.
Erickson brings nearly 25 years of financial and administrative experience to SirsiDynix, including roles as CFO and vice president for a range of companies, including Altiris, Inc., Newspaper Agency Corporation, Hopkins Leasing Corporation and Marina Ventures International, LTD. He began his career as a senior accountant for Arthur Andersen & Co. and served as a senior manager for Deloitte & Touche, LLP. Erickson is a CPA who holds a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University.
