Colorado Nexus Library Consortium selects AGent VERSO

Press Release: Auto-Graphics, Inc. [March 25, 2008]

POMONA, CA. —March 25, 2008 -- Auto-Graphics, Inc. (OTCBB: AUGR) (Pink Sheets: AUGR), a technology innovator providing library automation solutions for over 35 years, today announced that the Colorado Nexus library consortium, consisting of 42 school libraries and 8 public libraries, have selected AGent VERSO as their integrated library system (ILS). The Colorado Nexus libraries are upgrading from a Follett Software system to AGent VERSO and are opting for Auto-Graphics’ Software as a Service (SaaS) delivery model, a completely hosted solution which includes full system support, maintenance and updates, allowing the libraries to focus on expanding patron and student services without the additional cost and complexity of tackling technical support issues internally.

"We selected AGent VERSO because it is a truly integrated system," commented Kendra Swope, Colorado Nexus administrator. "We are able to quickly and easily navigate through the system, including circulation, cataloging and patron records all with a single staff log-in, which has significantly streamlined workflow and freed up time for other projects."

AGent VERSO will provide both staff and library patrons with web-based, permission-enabled access to all relevant information, resources and services offered by each member library, including staff modules. The system is built on AGent, an open and standards-compliant platform that provides the Colorado Nexus library consortium the ability to seamlessly integrate additional functionality, such as federated searching and digital collections, as their needs evolve over time.

"We are pleased to add Colorado Nexus to our growing group of ILS consortial customers. By choosing AGent VERSO as a multi-type consortium, the group also gains the ability to conduct complex resource sharing directly through the system without having to invest in redundant and costly technologies," said Paul Cope, president of Auto-Graphics. "We see this as further validation that AGent VERSO can offer enterprise capability to the library community beyond the constraints of the traditional ILS."
