Bibliotheca presents customized RFID products at PLA

Bibliotheca RFID Library Systems will be exhibiting at the PUBLIC LIBRARY ASSOCIATION (PLA) convention to be held in Minneapolis, Minnesota from March 26th to the 28th. "This is the premier public library event that is held only once every two years in the US", said Emmett Erwin, the President and CEO of Bibliotheca Inc, "we are proud to be a supporter".

The Bibliotheca booth will be filled with new, innovative products that save librarians and staff time, provide a better patron experience and have an ROI that stretches the library’s dollar. "Our products are designed to operate reliably in a public library setting", stated Emmett Erwin, "there is a rugged infrastructure, yet an exterior that belies our European roots". Bibliotheca’s products are ergonomic and designed to the highest safety standards for both UL and CE approval. All of our RFID systems are ISO compliant and non-proprietary.

New products to be featured are:

  • BiblioWandLight- a light-weight (only 0.7 lbs), wireless inventory wand with easy to use programs and prompts.
  • BiblioSelfCheckNew Orleans - Patron Self Check-out System - available in desktop or "stand-alone" kiosk versions. This elegant system features stainless steel and various trim options including natural wood to match a library’s décor. Optional integrated coin fine payment system and external payment box for currency and credit cards. BiblioSelfCheckTM Statistic software collects information on the utilization of the SelfCheck Station.
  • BiblioReturnSecure - this 3rd generation automated material handling (AMH) system features our patented and exclusive security chamber sluice system for added safety and security of the library.
  • BiblioMobileRFID Conversion Station - converting the collection to RFID has never been easier. This device not only programs the tag, but prints a logo for example and dispenses it all in one step.
  • BiblioPeopleCounterWeb - automated system fully embedded into an IP camera counts people moving in two directions simultaneously and creates statistical reports.
  • BiblioChipBookLabel -ISO compatible, available with archival
