Trajman served as President from March 1, 2004 through May 2007. Trajman will continue to serve Ex Libris in a consulting capacity through the end of 2007. Mercer comes to Ex Libris from SAS Institute, Inc., a developer of statistical analysis and business intelligence systems. At SAS, Mercer rose through a progression of positions, most recently serving as Vice President and General Manager of SAS Latin America and the Caribbean. Prior to SAS, Mercer held positions at Dell. The appointment of Mercer represents a minor transition at Ex Libris and does not seem to be indicative of a significant change in direction for the company.
