We are pleased to announce that Ann Melaerts has been appointed Managing Director of Infor Library Solutions. Ann has been with our organization for over 15 years and has served as General Manager Southern Europe Region for the last 6 years. In her role as General Manager for Southern Europe, she successfully implemented an aggressive growth strategy, solidifying our leading position and strengthening our brand recognition in the southern European marketplace.
Ann brings vast experience and knowledge to her new role. In her various capacities, she has worked closely with product management in shaping the direction of the organization's product suite, including Vubis Smart, V-link, V-spaces and V-sources. Ann has also occupied a vital position in the organization's management team; throughout the years she has been a crucial force in defining and implementing the company's objective of providing leading technological solutions to libraries and information centers worldwide.
As Managing Director, Ann will oversee the further growth and development of our global business and provide overall leadership to our worldwide organization. Fluent in several languages, including French (as a first language), English and Dutch, Ann brings a unique global perspective to the organization. She is based in Brussels, Belgium.
Ann replaces Eric van Lubeek who is stepping down as Managing Director in order to pursue a new opportunity. During his 16 years at the organization, Eric was instrumental in growing our business and ensuring the success of our products. We wish Eric best of luck and success in his future endeavors.
