Document Repository is now an OCLC PromptCat participant

DUBLIN, Ohio, September 14, 2006— is now an OCLC PromptCat participant, making it possible for libraries to receive OCLC MARC records along with the materials they get from the online vendor including books, music, DVDs and more.

The OCLC PromptCat service offers an effective, affordable way to automate a library's cataloging needs. With PromptCat, new items ordered through participating vendors such as arrive with complete OCLC MARC records, and the library's holdings are automatically set in WorldCat, the world's most comprehensive database of library materials.

Each of these services can be tailored to meet the needs of each library, and each library is able to manage its processing profile online.
