Two More Beijing Universities Select ALEPH 500, MetaLib, and SFX

Beijing, China - 9 August, 2006. Ex Libris (China) is pleased to announce that Beijing University of Technology and Capital Normal University have selected the Ex Libris ALEPH 500 library automation system, the MetaLib® library portal, and SFX--the context-sensitive link server.

"In addition to the thorough investigation carried out by our system evaluation team regarding Ex Libris' professional services and technical support offered by local staff, we have witnessed the Company's fast growth in the Chinese market. This, coupled with the warm recommendations we have received regarding the Company from a well-known library system expert group, make us fully confident in our decision," adds Professor Hu.

"After a long process of system evaluation, including attending the Company's user group meeting, visiting live sites, and holding thorough discussions with customers, we were impressed with the openness, flexibility, interoperability, and localized features of the Ex Libris systems, " explains Professor Wei Yuhui, Acting Director of Beijing University of Technology. "With the professional librarians of the local office, we look forward to the successful implementation of the systems," adds Professor Wei.
