Civica has announced that TOP Information Technologies Co Ltd, based in Taiwan, has been re-appointed as distributor of the Spydus Library Management Solution for the Taiwanese and Chinese library markets.
TOP and Civica have already achieved notable success with the Spydus library system, which is currently used by around 350 Taiwanese libraries over the past 20 years with a strong market presence in the secondary and tertiary education sector.
SPYDUS is a web-based application, which combines automation of traditional library functions with ongoing innovation to deliver a total information management capability. The system integrates modern library automation, including web-based and mobile access and the latest tracking capabilities of RFID, with a powerful and flexible search engine.
