The University College is a new facility located in Cyberjaya, the heart of creativity and innovation of Malaysia. Cyberjaya is also the nucleus of the Multimedia Super Corridor, a hub designed to leapfrog the nation into the Digital Era. World technology icons operating there include Nokia, Ericsson, IBM, Microsoft, NEC, Oracle and Siemens. "All VIRTUA subsystems and Vectors iPortal were chosen to help CUCMS fulfill its mission," says CUCMS Executive Director & Provost, Dr. Mohamad Salmi Mohd Sohod. The VIRTUA system is incorporated as part of the CUCMS e-Learning Portal at www.cybermed.edu.my, which is a pioneering effort in this region for Medical Education."
The library's purchase of VIRTUA included cataloging, circulation, acquisitions, Vectors iPortal, & InfoStation. The system was purchased with a 3-user license.
