HUNTSVILLE, Ala.—August 16, 2005— SirsiDynix announced today that Chester College of New England's Wadleigh Library, in Chester, New Hampshire, recently selected Sirsi.net, SirsiDynix's hosted Unicorn® Library Management System. Sirsi.net Hosted Services offers libraries the implementation and management of SirsiDynix systems by SirsiDynix-certified system administrators. Wadleigh Library staff decided that Sirsi.net fulfilled the needs of their college community – providing quick, convenient access from any location to all of the Library's information resources through an easy-to-navigate interface.
"Because of the flexibility of the Sirsi system, library staff were able to customize the software and tailor it to the needs of a small college library," said Marie Lasher, director of the Wadleigh Library. "The design of the public catalog, which is really the first thing our students see when entering the system, is clear, attractive, and allows them a variety of options for searching. It's an important component in teaching students about the many resources available to them as they prepare to do research in our library."
