Alexandria Library to upgrade online catalog system

Abstract: The Alexandria, Va., Library will begin installing a newly upgraded, online catalog system at its library branches on Wednesday, Aug. 17. The Dynix Horizon offers user-friendly technology that allows faster and smarter searching and easier communication between the Alexandria Library and its patrons, such as automatic e-mail notification of overdue items.
