About Col·legi d'Arquitectes de Catalunya

Col·legi d'Arquitectes de Catalunya is a public legal entity of obligatory membership for freelance professionals of architecture, and voluntary membership for those who either do not practice or do so under other systems. It was established in 1931 although some of its sections date back over a hundred years; this is the case of the Library, which was passed on by the former Association of Architects of Catalonia, founded in 1890. The COAC represents all active architects in Catalonia, at present a body of over 6,200 professionals.
