Saint-Laurent, May 5, 1993 – Best-Seller Library Management, Inc. proudly to announces the recent opening of three offices in Canada and the United States. The offices report to the Company's International Sales and Marketing Vice-Presidency.
The Vancouver, BC office is directed by Mr. Kevin Reath, Vice-President, International Sales and Marketing. As well as managing the Vancouver office, Mr. Reath will oversee the implementation of a plan to penetrate the American European and Asian markets. In addition, he will direct the activities of the two new U.S. offices.
Kevin Reath has more than 15 years' experience in international sales and marketing. He has always worked with software-development companies, including the List Foundation, a non-profit organization specializing in international trade. Before joining the Foundation, he had held the positions of Vice-President, Marketing, and Director, eastern Markets Development for Acorn Computer Systems of Montreal.
Best-Seller Library Management is especially pleased that its new U.S. offices will be directed by two distinguished librarians: Joan Frye Williams and Janet L. Bruman, who recently joined the Company. Ms. Williams will act as general manager for the U.S. division and will run the office in Havertown, Pennsylvania. She has 17 years' experience of library science, 13 of them with automated library-management systems. Before joining the Company, Ms. Williams spent 7 years working for INLEX, a U.S. distributor of library-management systems running on HP 3000 microcomputers.
Janet L. Bruman's mandate will be to direct the activities of the office in Pacific Grove, California, and to act as software consultant for the adoption of the product for the U.W. market. Ms. Bruman has 21 years' experience of library management, including 14 years' experience in automated management, 6 of them acquired at INLEX.
