LONDON, UK - 29 NOVEMBER 2002. Mr. Humphrey Pickering, Vice-President Europe of BiblioMondo is pleased to announce the appointment of Jean-Pierre Sakoun to the position of Deputy Vice-President Europe, effective immediately.
Based in Paris, Mr. Sakoun will focus initially on BiblioMondo France activities before extending his area of activity to our other European subsidiaries in the UK, Germany and the Netherlands, assisting with the expansion of the customer base across Western Europe.
Jean-Pierre Sakoun, a professional librarian, comes to BiblioMondo with an extensive knowledge of the library automation sector and computerized products. Mr. Sakoun has held strategic management positions namely as Sales and Marketing Director at Geac Computers Corp., as Chief Executive Officer of Chadwyck-Healey France and as Chairman of Bibliopolis.

Mr. Humphrey Pickering, Vice-President Europe of BiblioMondo is also pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Paula Braun to the post of Sales & Marketing Support for BiblioMondo Europe.
Ms. Braun was employed in the systems management service of the Openbare Bibliotheek of The Hague (The Netherlands) till she joined the Product Management department of BiblioMondo Inc. from Summer 2001. One of her major roles in Montreal was as project head for the ZONES family of new BiblioMondo software products. She now brings her extensive experience of libraries and their automation to the European market.
Based in the offices of BiblioMondo The Netherlands, she will visit all our markets in Europe, talking to customers and prospects about their aspirations for quality library service products in the 21st century and assessing how BiblioMondo can best respond to those needs.
