Beijing Jiaotong University selects ALEPH 500, MetaLib, and SFX Product Suite for Its library

Ex Libris is pleased to announce that Beijing Jiaotong University has selected the Ex Libris flagship ALEPH 500™ integrated library system, the MetaLib™ virtual gateway, and the award-winning, context-sensitive linking tool SFX for its library information system. With the signing of this agreement, Beijing Jiaotong University has become the first Chinese customer to contract Ex Libris' complete suite of products.

"The full Unicode support and localization functionalities of the ALEPH 500 library automation system were features of great interest during the extensive system evaluation period” said Mr. Sa Shuli, director of the university library. “The technical support, professionalism, and integrity of the local representatives of Ex Libris coupled with warm recommendations received from other Chinese institutions using ALEPH 500 made us confident in our decision.
