Established by the owners of DA Information Services, the new firm will exclusively serve market segments in Australia, New Zealand, and in the Pacific Islands (including Fiji and Papua New Guinea) for TLC.
DA Information Services is a major library supplier throughout Australia and the region. Its business specializes in academic books, electronic media, and subscriptions management.
The new agreement with TLC marks another success in TLC's global sales efforts. The company's global sales have grown steadily since 1985, when it first began selling BiblioFile Cataloging in Canada and Australia (in addition to the United States). Today, TLC has an office in Singapore, and has 15 distributors selling TLC products in 68 countries. The company's largest global customers include the Singapore National Library Board, Singapore Ministry of Education, and Wellington City Libraries in New Zealand.
