May 7, 2012. Cuadra Associates announces change in management. Cuadra Associates, a SydneyPLUS Affiliate, announced that Dr. Carlos A. Cuadra, the company’s President, Judith Wanger, Executive Vice President, and Gloria N. Cuadra, Chief Financial Officer, have left the company. Dr. and Mrs. Cuadra have retired; Ms. Wanger, who co-founded the company, has left to pursue new endeavors. Phil Green, who is the head of The Inmagic Division of SydneyPLUS, now leads the Cuadra management team. Long-time Cuadra managers, Dr. David M. Abels (service and support), Dr. Neil G. April 5, 2012. Cuadra Associates releases Version 2 of STAR Knowledge Center for Archives. Cuadra Associates announced the release of version 2.0 of STAR Knowledge Center for Archives (SKCA), its acclaimed archival collections management solution. The centerpiece of this new release is the new Research Services module. SKCA users requested the new module because they wanted to integrate the tracking of requests with the cataloging data that they already have in SKCA. They needed to be able to track the work done by archives staff on behalf of researchers, including actions such as pulling materials from storage, photocopying, digitizing, and research. <<more>>

STAR/RIMS-E, the new client-server software for managing both electronic and non-electronic documents, was certified in July by the Department of Defense as compliant with DoD 5015.21-STD.
