e-academy and ISI ResearchSoft make EndNote 4.0 software available to students on a rental basis

Abstract: e-academy Inc. and ISI ResearchSoft announced that EndNote is now available as part of e-academy''s digital distribution system. This system enables students and faculty across the U.S. and Canada to rent this software application for 6 months or a year rather than paying the full retail price for a perpetual license.

More than 300,000 users rely on EndNote as an essential research tool. A full version of the software application normally retails for $329.95 USD. EndNote's presence in the e-academy software catalogue places it in a roster of other brand-name titles, including rental products from SPSS and Minitab, and standard licenses from Macromedia and Symantec.
