Atlanta, GA, June 15, 2015 – EnvisionWare, a leading provider of self-service and library efficiency solutions, announced the release of Library Document Station (LDS) version 3X. The Library Document Station is the first full-service document station designed for public libraries.
LDS version 3X offers a range of new features and enhancements designed for public libraries, including:
- Genealogy System: The new genealogy system available with LDS 3X makes it easy for patrons to scan documents and photos of various shapes and sizes using a new Fujitsu overhead scanner and Kodak photo scanner. The system also includes the ability to upload documents and photos directly to Family Search to create a family tree.
- Expanded Scanning Platforms: In addition to the new Fujitsu overhead scanner and Kodak photo scanner, version 3X also offers a small format flatbed scanner (8.5 x 11) designed for small spaces and conservative budgets.
- Enterprise Payment Options: A full integrated API enables customers on EnvisionWare eCommerce v3.4 to offer a variety of payment options. In addition to coin-op and vending devices, patrons can pay by credit card, AAM Deposit accounts, and ILS Deposit/Credit accounts.
EnvisionWare will offer demonstrations of LDS 3X in the EnvisionWare booth (#2835) at ALA annual.
