October 6, 2010 – Bethesda, MD – LibLime is proud to announce, that the new website is live! (www.liblime.com). Since LibLime's acquisition by PTFS, it has been the vision and ambition of our team to create a more user friendly and informative environment (interface), where site visitors can learn about Koha, download Koha, explore demos and view customer sites.
The new LibLime website features a new home page with a clear and concise navigation panel and drop down menus. The website now allows users to easily access the information they want, regarding Open Source, Koha and the products and services that LibLime offers. Users can now connect with LibLime on several social media channels and find out the latest LibLime news. It also includes an updated calendar of events.
"Given all the excitement around Koha, we wanted to update the LibLime website to present a more user-friendly experience. We are now receiving over 4,500 web visits per month, as the site becomes a central stop on the research trail for librarians seeking information about Koha. We hope the site provides what librarians need to make the move from a commercial ‘hands-off' ILS model to an open source one where the users of the ILS can have an impact on how the application serves them," said Patrick Jones, Director, Library Solutions and Services.
Look for updates to the website as time goes on! www.liblime.com
