ATHENS, OH--October 1, 2008--LibLime, the leader in open-source solutions for libraries, announced today that J. David Bavousett has joined LibLime as Implementation Specialist.
David comes to LibLime from the Abilene Library Consortium where he had worked since 2002 as Project Manager and Systems Administrator. Prior to that, David worked as a Systems Analyst Consultant for both Computer Horizons Corp. and Laboratory Corporation of America.
"I'm pleased to be joining LibLime at this time," David says. "I believe firmly that open source is the mechanism that will enable libraries to do greater things with technology, at lower cost moving forward. LibLime is a beacon showing the way for libraries to move in that direction."
"I'm honored to be joining this brilliant team of people; the wide variety of experiences that the LibLime team has makes for a great mix--from new, fresh ideas, to long careers in the library industry. I'm already enjoying the benefits of that, and I'm sure our customers do too," David adds.
"David is already bringing expertise and efficiency to LibLime's implementation department," says Joshua Ferraro, CEO of LibLime. "We're really lucky to have him. David has got extensive experience with both Unicorn and DRA Classic, which will be especially valuable for migrations upcoming in 2008."
LibLime is the global leader in open-source solutions for libraries, with a mission to make open source accessible to libraries.
