May 2, 2014 -- Emeryville, CA—Innovative announced today that library automation pioneer Jim Wilson has joined the Company as Director of Strategic Accounts. In his new role, Wilson will be focused on working closely with major clients to take full advantage of Innovative's complete portfolio of technology solutions to meet the needs of their staff and users.
Wilson, who was co-founder of Dynix in 1983, is widely viewed as one of the leaders in the library technology community. With experience in both public and academic libraries, Wilson has worked with libraries for more than 30 years to develop automation solutions to meet their needs. Prior to founding Dynix, he worked for the Provo Public Library and Brigham Young University's Herald B. Lee Library.
