Carlsbad, CA – June 6, 2013. EOS International announced that they will exhibit at this year's American Association of Law Libraries (AALL) Annual Conference in July 2013.
The AALL Conference will be held from July 13-16, 2013 at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle, WA. EOS will be exhibiting at booth # 512 and will host an EOS seminar and EOS client reception at the Sheraton Seattle Hotel. The client reception will be held on Sunday, July 14, 2013 from 6:00pm-7:30pm in the Willow B Room of the Sheraton Seattle. The EOS seminar will be held on Monday, July 15 from 5:30pm-7:00pm in the Grand Ballroom A of the Sheraton Seattle.
During the seminar event, Steve Lastres, Director of Library & Knowledge Management at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP, will give an instructive talk entitled: Paradigm Shift: Your Library is Now a Service, Not a Physical Space. During the presentation, attendees will learn about why they need to think of their library as a service and not a place, how Steve Lastres and his staff have changed perceptions and transformed their library from a physical place into a virtual knowledge services center, making it integral to the business of the organization, and steps librarians need to take today to transform their library from a physical footprint to a critical must-have service.
In addition, EOS will raffle an iPad Mini for those attending the EOS seminar event. EOS will be giving each attendee at the EOS Seminar a free print copy of EOS's 305 page book, "The Digital Library Survival Guide" by Joseph R. Matthews.
EOS will also host a client reception event for EOS clients to gather for an evening of refreshments and discussions about the latest enhancements to their EOS.Web products, and how EOS.Web is helping to improve their library's capabilities.
