(Carlsbad, CA – April 23, 2012) EOS International participated in Marshall Breeding's Automation Marketplace 2012 survey. This annual report features information about the state of the industry, sales data, technology trends, personnel trends, and business transitions.
"EOS International, well established in the special library arena, continues to expand its client base. The company's traditional strength lies in the legal library software arena; 34 percent of the top 250 U.S. law firms rely on its products. EOS reports a positive response to its EOS.Web Academic in 2011, primarily among smaller academic educational institutions or special libraries within large universities. EOS.Web Digital, provides support for cataloging digital and print materials including Electronic Resource Management (ERM) and Digital Asset Management for managing digital content."
In 2011, EOS International signed an impressive 23 new EOS.Web Academic library contracts. Six of these libraries have collections ranging from 50,000 to almost 300,000 titles.
Overall, EOS inked 91 new contracts for EOS.Web! In this competitive environment, EOS continues to gain traction with its market-leading cloud-based, cost-effective solutions.
It was unfortunate and notable that most of EOS International's competitors in the special library market chose not to respond to this important annual survey.
