Englewood, OH (January11th, 2010)ĖDave Schoen, Director of Library Services at Niagara University and Civica/CMI, a world leader in providing library automation technology, announce today that Niagara University has selected the Spydus Integrated Library System (ILS). The system will replace the existing SirsiDynix Horizon System.
"After exploring our options across the entire ILS marketplace, we found SPYDUS to be technically superior, as well as having the best value, which was very important as our Library is continually being asked to do more with less. We consider Spydus to be a very complete ILS that will meet our needs well now and into the future.
In the selection process, we were impressed on how focused SPYDUS was on our local situation and needs. It was clear to me that Civica/CMI isnít merely selling us a system; they are committed to establishing a strong, attentive, long-term relationship with Niagara University." Dave Schoen said.
Simon Parkes, Director of Library and Learning at Civica/CMI said "We are delighted to add Niagara University to our fast-expanding list of customers across both the Public and Academic markets. Our range of products and services and our global interests will ensure that Niagara, along with all our customers, will continue to take advantage of the very latest technologies, which will assist in achieving both service enhancement and system efficiencies at a time of financial stringency."
