(Mandarin Library Automation) Leo Lazo, President of Mandarin Library Automation, Inc., has announced that as of July 1, 2007, he and two other major management team members, Christine DiVito, Comptroller and Art Graham, Vice President of Technical Services, have acquired 50 percent of Mandarin's stock from EGEG Holdings, led by Elliot and Eleanor Goldstein.

The Textbook Module adds a textbook database to your M3 system, allowing you to track, catalog and maintain your textbook collection separately from your library collection.

(SIRSI Corporation) School District No. 23 in Kelowna, British Columbia, Seven Oaks School Division 10 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and York Catholic District School Board in Aurora, Ontario recently awarded Mandarin Library Automation, Inc. contracts to provide the Mandarin M3 Library Automation System to their schools.

(SIRS Mandarin, Inc.) Mandarin Library Automation, Inc. announced that the Southern Ontario Library Service, headquartered in Toronto, Canada, has selected Mandarin to provide library automation systems and services to its libraries at consortium pricing. SOLS serves 674 libraries (including branches), 173 Municipal and County Libraries, and 21 First Nation Libraries throughout Southern Ontario.

The holding company (EGEG Holdings Corp.) for Mandarin Library Automation, Inc., SCP Commercial Printing, Inc. and SIRS Publishing, Inc. has sold SIRS Publishing, Inc. to ProQuest Company. Mandarin Library Automation will continue to be owned by Elliot and Eleanor Goldstein and operated by the same executive team that has run the company since the division of Mandarin and SIRS in 2001.

ProQuest Information and Learning, a unit of ProQuest Company, is a leading provider of online information services to libraries and educational institutions worldwide.

(MuseGlobal, Inc.) Mandarin Library Automation, Inc. announced a technology partnership with MuseGlobal, Inc. in developing M3 Web OPAC Deluxe, a portal product that will complement the Mandarin M3 Library Automation software suite.

(SIRS Mandarin, Inc.) SIRS Mandarin has recently been reorganized. The library automation division is now Mandarin Library Automation, Inc. (Mandarin); the electronic and print databases division is now SIRS Publishing, Inc. (SIRS). The SIRS office in Montreal, Canada will be closed.
