(ByWater Solutions) Farmington Libraries Executive Director Jay Johnston, Library Board Chairman Alan Sherman, and ByWater Solutions Co-Founder Nathan Curulla gathered to sign a 6-year extension of the Koha integrated library system software. In 2011, the Farmington Libraries became what at the time was the largest library to adopt the Koha software with ByWater Solutions. In the years since this decision was made, the savings and increased efficiency afforded by Koha has allowed the Farmington Libraries to double their collection size and offer better, more streamlined services to the community.

(ByWater Solutions) ByWater Solutions announced that the more than 20 students enrolled in ‘Library Systems’ and ‘Organization and Representation of Knowledge and Information’ classes at the Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis School of Informatics and Computing, and will be using Koha through the Klassmates program.

(ByWater Solutions) The Round Rock Public Library has selected Koha open-source Integrated Library System (ILS) to replace the SirsiDynix Horizon system. ByWater Solutions, an open source community contributor and America’s forefront provider of Koha support, will provide the migration services and support. Customers will see the change go into effect April 2016.

(ByWater Solutions) ByWater Solutions announced the rollout of a new program dedicated to providing free hosted Koha installations for library schools nationwide for the purposes of teaching and learning about integrated library systems and open source. The program, Koha Klassmates, made a very big impact on its first day by attracting over 20 library school inquiries via the Klassmates website. Koha Klassmates is one of the many new learning initiative being rolled out by ByWater between now and the beginning of 2016.
