Other Info: The Library of the Bank of Greece is one of the most comprehensive economic libraries in the country. Since Apr. 2013 it reports to the Centre for Culture, Research and Documentation. It is housed in the headquarters of the Bank. The Library was inaugurated in 1931, whereas the Bank of Greece was established in 1928 as the central bank of the country. The Library's collection is being developed aiming to support the operations of the Bank. The core subjects of its collection are economics, finance, banking, law, monetary policy, statistics, and business administration. Although it is open to the public, it is not a lending library to the general public but only to the Bank's employees. The Library's collections include print and electronic resources.
